Our Mission

We have much to celebrate! Fairhaven Foundation is now Abilities Unite Foundation of the Mahoning Valley. Our mission remains committed to enriching the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, but with greater reach and impact. We support individuals eligible for services through Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbiana County Boards of Developmental Disabilities.

Our Focus

We live our mission by creating meaningful opportunities, providing resources, and promoting community inclusion to enrich the lives of those we serve. We have provided free community experiences to thousands of individuals with developmental disabilities in the Mahoning Valley. We also award grants to help individuals in emergency situations, provide support for therapeutic and educational camp opportunities, purchase adaptive clothing and equipment, and provide for unexpected expenses.
